Welcome. The Bardejov Jewish Preservation Committee was formed for the purpose of restoring the Jewish communal properties in Bardejov, Slovakia, a home to Jewish communities since the 1700s. The Jewish Suburbia and the town's historic center were added to UNESCO's World Heritage List in 2000.

We invite you to explore our site to learn more about Bardejov, its prewar Jewish community, and how you can play an important role in preserving its rich Jewish culture and heritage.

In the spirit of preserving Bardejov's rich Jewish heritage, The Committee sponsored a historic gathering from May 14 to 17, 2012, in Bardejov.
